Participants will learn the basics of how to use a variety of multimedia
applications and tools to create a standards-based, multimedia project
for their classroom. By researching exemplary multimedia lessons,
activities, and resources available on the Internet, as well as
discussing pedagogical ideas, participants will learn how to create
meaningful and engaging multimedia projects. The culmination of
this course will be to create a standards-based lesson, unit, or
project that integrates multimedia. Requires introductory knowledge
and the use of (or access to) at least one of the following programs:
Microsoft's Powerpoint, HyperStudio, or Kid Pix.
